Below you will find the current list of Chihuahuas (by region) who are in need of a loving home. If you are interested in learning more about a specific Chihuahua, please e-mail the contact after filling out an adoption application. They will get back to you with information as quickly as possible.

If you are looking for a dog that is unaltered, please do not ask. ALL dogs are spayed/neutered without any exceptions.

If you are interested in adopting, but the Chihuahuas currently listed are not in your area, feel free to complete an adoption application and continue checking your area for new listings. You can also read about how our adoption process works. Please also read up about the Chihuahua breed to be sure this is the right fit for you and your household.

All of our dogs are altered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and fecal tested prior to adoption. CRT requests an adoption donation of at least $150.00 (unless otherwise noted. The donation can increase or decrease.) In the event that you are adopting a puppy from us, which is very rare, the adoption donation will increase. Again, please read about our adoption process.

If you or your rescue group know of a Chihuahua who needs a home, please e-mail adoptions@chihuahua-rescue.com . We are always willing to add a needy Chihuahua to our CRT Guest Page. However, please note, CRT policy requires that all Chihuahuas posted on this page be spayed/neutered prior to placement.
