So I was just hanging out, enjoying the sun on the patio, my friends, and good meals, and my foster mom picked me up, smooched me right on the mouth! and said, "Blue, you have a new home! You're going to live with some wonderful people and a little sister!"
What was I supposed to say to that? Sure, I'm happy, but what about my daughter, Patti? She just got her knees fixed and she'll be without me for the first time in her life. I wish someone would give her a new home, too. She's an awfully sweet little girl and just wants a chance to show you. She does have very strong opinions,
and in the picture below you'll see her expressing some of them to a transporter when we were on our way here. She's only seven years old and has a lot of years
ahead of her to fit into a new family.
I'm getting excited now -- I'll have to pack my little bag, and take my favorite blankie, a cuddly toy, and a few other things, just to remind me of my foster mom and Patti. But I'm looking forward to my very own home, lots of loving, and those treats I'll con my new mom and dad into giving me.
Thanks, everyone, for helping out the Cleveland 6. We're only halfway there, and it seems like we've stalled on the tracks somewhere, but I'm sure donations will pick up soon. Patti's surgery was an added expense, but she's so much happier with it and will be running and playing soon. If you can skip that pizza once a week, you could just send us the money. Or send us the pizza; we'd probably appreciate that more<G>.
Bye for now, and lots of love!
