Links & Awards

We receive many requests to place a link to other websites and to advertise in the CRT newsletter. Because of concerns regarding the experiences of people who may go to those links, it is CRT's policy to not place links for merchandise or advertisements on the website or in the newsletter. We aren't in the position to assess the quality and reliability of each merchant, and we're concerned that if people are directed to the site from us, there is an implied endorsement. There have been situations in the past where people had difficulties with a vendor, and expected us to help solve the problem simply because the link was on our site. Please do not think that by not placing a link to your site we are in any way implying that we think there would be a problem, however, it is a blanket policy for which we can not make exceptions.

If you wish to have your link approved by the Board of Directors, please submit your URL to the webmaster.

	In 2008, we were given the "Pet Community Award" which is given to "those special dog rescue websites who go above and beyond the call of duty to help abandoned and homeless dogs in their local communities."
dog breeds	We were awarded the "Dog Rescue Award" for 2007 by Just Dog Breeds. To win the award, an organization must be a rescuer of an AKC registered breed, ensure the dogs are spayed or neutered before placement, and place the dogs with compatible owners. A big thanks to JDB!
