Bitsy is a beautiful
brown four pound short hair female who is four
years old. She is house trained and enjoys
going outside for a quick bathroom break with her
favorite person. She enjoys laying on the sofa
or favorite chair, but prefers to spend as much time
as possible on her favorite person's lap. She
needs the company of another small dog and will
ignore cats in the household once she is used to
them. It is exciting for her to follow her
foster mom around the house to see what she is
doing.
Bitsydoes not like to be left alone. She will
bond closely with her special person.
She is wary of people she hasn't met before, but it
doesn't take much time for her to learn to trust.
Once she learns, her main desire is to be petted and
hugged.
She has developed a heart murmur and is on
medication. Adopters must be experienced in dealing
with dogs with heart murmurs. She is fairly active,
but cannot be placed with puppies/young active dogs.
Because of her small size she will not go to a
home with children or where there are large
dogs. Her foster mom will work on leash
training, but a secure fenced in yard is
necessary.. Bitsy is quiet most of the time.
In her foster home she sleeps in a dog crate with
her favorite stuffed toys. She needs a loving
home where her favorite person will love her and
protect her from harm. She needs a home where
someone is home a majority of the day or she has a
small companion.
