Hi, my name is Don Juan, (DJ for short) and I'm a real lover. Check out these pictures! I'm a man on a mission! I also included a picture of me napping, my second favorite thing to do.  I weigh about 4.5 lbs, and I'm around ten years old. Someone tossed me out on the street and after wandering around for a while, I was picked up by a nice dog groomer who turned me in to CRT.  Good thing, too, because I wouldn't have lasted long if I had run into any big old stray dogs! I love my afternoon naps, and I'm a very mellow gentleman. I have a large bark, but absolutely no bite, and I give the greatest kisses and hugs! I love to snuggle and rub my cheek against yours. I'm a beautiful silver color, and look a little like a silver fox. The girls all think I'm foxy too<g>.

Don't let my age fool you; I can jump really high and run like the wind. There's a lot of life left in me, and I need a place to spend the rest of it. I'm looking and looking, but I haven't found a home yet -- could it be yours? I'd like a fenced yard; there's nothing nicer than a nap in the sun, not worrying about anything. No large dogs, please, and no children. I'm small and don't want to be dropped or stepped on. If you noticed in my picture, I have a rather long "member;" just a little too long for its sheath. It doesn't need any treatment and I'm just fine with it, so there's no problem.

If no one wants to adopt me, maybe some kind soul could be my Best Friend? What do you think? Is it you?

Since we have had him, DJ developed several malignant tumors on his side and we feel it is best for him to remain in foster care for the time he has left. He has had two surgeries to remove them, and is enjoying his older age by lying in the sun (when it's warm) and cruising through the yard checking his property. We want to thank everyone who has inquired about him, and his Best Friends, too. He appreciates all you do for him.

If you have a home for me, please complete an adoption application. Then you can email Laura at midwestcoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com to let her know you want me. You must live in OH/IN/KY/WI/IL/MN/MI. (gc)
