Since
arriving here, 3 year old Emma has consistently been a delight. She's
quiet and goes with the flow in the home, which includes 3 other chis
and 2 medium-sized dogs. Emma is a larger chi, about 10 pounds, with a
slightly longer body. It's possible that there is some pug in her
background. Her underbite makes her really cute. Occasionally, her lip
gets hooked so that her entire bottom row of little white teeth show,
making her look really serious, and the whole effect makes everyone
laugh. She plays with one of the dogs in the house, and she would do
well with a small-sized dog to play with.
Emma is loving, quiet, and to date has been a follower in the house.
She gets along well with all the dogs, her foster mom, and the foster
mom's young adult son. She is housebroken, eats well, and can stand on
her hind legs for a very long time, waiting for or asking for treats
when she comes in from outside. Overall, she's a happy and funny
little dog. She would love to have her own forever home with people
who will love her, give her the attention she wants and deserves, and
not send her to yet another living situation with a shifting cast of
characters. She's ready for some stability in her home and in the
people who will love her, care for her, and whom she can love in
return. Emma's shots are current and she has been microchipped.
She
needs a fenced yard to run and play in, as well as a playmate if you
are not at home most of the time. She is not a dog who should be left
alone long hours every day; she is a young, active girl who enjoys
human and dog interaction, and needs the stimulation of company. Older
children would do well with her, but no large dogs. Even though she is
sturdy, she needs another dog her size.
If you can provide Emma with a home that meets her needs, please
complete an adoption application on the website and then email Laura
at
MidwestCoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com to let her know that
you want Emma. You must live in OH/IN/KY/IL/MN/MI/WI (cs)
