Put A Little Love In Your Life - Adopt A Chihuahua

IZZY
My best friend is Nancy Stier.

My name is Izabella but my foster family calls me Izzy.
At the time of this write up I am 3 months old, I weigh 5 pounds and am still growing. I am a very special little girl with a couple of serious problems.

**Izzy is actually white with a tiny bit of light apricot on her ears. We're having technical problems with the camera (operator error, most likely<g>**

The first problem is that my left leg has a luxating patella which makes my leg not work properly. The only way I know there is something wrong is that they told me because I run and play just as hard as my foster brothers and sisters! It doesn't stop me at all but luckily for me CRT is going to get me the surgery I need to fix it! I have to wait until I'm six months old though, and have pretty much stopped growing.

The second little problem is called demodex.  I'm being treated for that right now and my BFF the vet thinks that I'll be all over it with good treatment. It's not contagious, but my hair falls out so I look a little patchy right now.  If you'd like to contribute to my demodex treatment or my upcoming surgery, please email sponsor@chihuahua-rescue.com

Now,  about the fun part of me! I love to snuggle and lick your neck. I love to play and run and eat. Yes eat.... That's my favorite thing to do!  But I am still growing you know!  I just love people, other dogs, the yard, toys, snuggly beds, foster mom's lap, and I even love the vet! Yes, I do!

Because I'm a puppy, I won't be adopted out as an "only" dog. You must have another Chihuahua, or be in a position to be at home with me the majority of the time. I would like a securely fenced yard, NO younger children, and no large dogs. If you can provide this, I'll be good to go as soon as that bum leg is fixed. Please think about it and if you are interested in me, you'll need to go to our website and complete an adoption application. You can also read the adoption requirements and procedure there.  After that, please email Midwestcoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com to let her know that you want me. You must live in OH/IN/KY/WI/IL/MN/MI. (cm)
