My name is Martini and I am a 3 year
old gentleman, about 5 lbs, bright eyes and curly tail. I love to
play - tug, chase the toy, zoom doggie - you name it - I love to
play it. I need a fenced yard to play in, and for housebreaking
purposes, too. When I came to my Foster Mom's house, my knees
hurt so much I was a very grumpy little guy. Well, my knees are
fixed now, and I am a reformed gentleman - I'll skip on one leg,
and carry it up from time to time, but it doesn't hurt any more. I
love to cuddle under the blankets and have my stomach rubbed. I
love treats - any kind of treats. I can have an attitude, and am a
ball of energy - not hyper, just alive and active! I am very
verbal about everything, it sounds like a growl, but it isn't - I
am just speaking my mind. My
foster mom swears that I say actual words, and she just might be
right<g>. When she gets a little too free with her hands, I warn
her but I don't bite anymore. I'm a good boy now and can be
trusted.
Did I say I love treats? I have lots of brothers and sisters at my
foster home, but I would be happiest as king of the roost - the
only dog or one of two - but a very small dog, like me. I am ok
with older teens who know how to love me gently and who have
exprience with Chihuahuas, but I am not comfortable around little
children - being small, I tend to get scared and try to defend
myself. I am looking for someone to love me as much as I could
love them. I would really be happiest with one person to love and
protect for the rest of my life. Are you the one who could be my
forever person?
