Hi, my name is Max(my foster mom calls me Serious Maximus because I look so worried).  You'd be worried too if you were only a year and a half old, weighed 5 lbs, and had been dumped out in the street! The shelter people found me and called rescue because they had way too many just like me. Homeless. So here I am!

I love to play; I'm still a puppy and I can run and chase and kill toys all day! I love my little Chi cousins here, and need a little friend in my new home. NO larger dogs! I'm too small and getting stepped on could ruin my chances for a normal life.  No younger children, and I need a securely fenced yard. Companionship, love, a playmate, fencing -- is that too much to ask?

I use puppy pads and also go outdoors, and I'm very good in my crate -- it's my special place to be and I love my cozy bed and blankets. I can't wait to get a home of my own, and I'd probably love sleeping in *your* bed, too! Just give me a chance.
