Nema
is a very energetic 8 month old puppy girl. She
came into rescue recently. She needs a lot of
training, and will require someone who understands
puppy energy and how to be the alpha owner. She is
very food oriented, so that will help as rewards
for correct behavior. We are working on calming
her enthusiasm, housebreaking, and walking on a
lead. Nema uses puppy pads in her pen. She
loves being petted and gives wonderful kisses. She
likes to chew on rawhide bones, and needs that to
help with some of her youthful energy. She
loves to sit with you and get attention. She could
be with a home that has older children, as she is
very people oriented, and not shy at all. Nema
weighs 4 lbs currently, but probably will add a
pound or two as she matures. She is a very dark
chocolate brown, with a thin coat of short hair.
She must have a securely fenced home, and because
she is a pup, she will not be adopted out to
anyone who must leave her alone all day. She needs
either another small companion or someone who can
be with her and work with her most of the time. No
younger children, and no larger dogs. She
needs an experienced owner and is not a good dog
for a first-time Chi adopter.
