Sassyfrass (Sassy for short) is a very quiet and shy girl. She is very sweet, but timid. She loves getting petted, but is initially very scared of strangers. Sassy will need a lot of TLC and patience, but shows great promise to develop into a wonderful companion. She needs to go to a home that is calm with a family that can continue her socialization. She does not play with toys, but wants to be with you whatever you are doing, and will follow you all over the place. She is a long-coat, with a beautiful coat,  and will need some extra attention to her daily brushing. We are working on housebreaking, socialization, and trust issues. She will use puppy pads in her pen. Sassy is not a yappy dog and does not chew on things; she walks well on a leash. She is very content to sleep in her X-pen or, if you desire, she would be happy to snuggle with you. Sassy is two years old, is a long-coat white and black, and weighs 5 lbs.

She will need a fenced yard for housebreaking purposes(although she walks on leash, she is timid and frightens easily, and this will create housebreaking problems for her), another small companion unless you are in a situation where you can spend most of your time with her, no children, and a quiet, laid-back household.  If you are interested in adopting Sassy, please go to our website and complete an adoption application, and then email MidwestCoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com.  You must live in OH/IN/KY/IL/WI/MN/MI.
