take a minute to check me out...my name is
Skittles. I am a beautiful 4 yo, 6 pound male
who just loves everybody! I have lots of
energy and just love playing with my toys and
snuggling. I have very long legs so I need to
be in a house without young children or larger
dogs. These long legs also let me jump really
high. I thought the dining room table would be
a good place to jump, but my foster Mom
quickly taught me that I did not get any
rewards or "good boy's" for being on
the table. I learn quickly, and now I just
look hopefully, but am very well behaved.
I love to eat, love rewards, and did I
say I have lots of energy? I also love to
snuggle close to my foster Mom or Dad when it
is bedtime, and have learned that under the
covers is soooo much warmer, and I sleep
better. I have very short hair, but plenty of
it, very soft and silky. I would do best
with one or more additional small dogs in the
house - and my foster brothers and sister are
teaching me to be a happy dog - how to bark at
strangers who come too close to the back yard
and how to play tug. I am so happy to be with
other dogs and people all the time - wouldn't
you consider sharing your home with me
permanently?
I can't be adopted out as an 'only' dog. I
wouldn't do well staying alone all day while
you work. If you have another little Chi, we'd
get along fine for normal working hours, but
we have many Chis in our rescue who had to
come here because they were left all alone and
couldn't adjust. I'll need a fenced
yard, someone home most of the time or another
Chi for company, and no children or larger
dogs. That's not much to ask when you consider
all the love I'll give you!
