Taco
is a two year old 6 pound male Chihuahua. His
short coat is light brown with a little bit of
white.
He
is a little shy at first but warms up in a couple
of days. Seems to have a very quiet temperament.
He has really good manners and goes potty outside.
He gets along well with other dogs and is a fast
learner. He learned in one day how to use the dog
door that takes him to his potty place and to jump
up to the special cookie spot and sit for his
cookie.
He
came to CRT from a local shelter who pulled from a
hoarding case. He is just a little overweight so
we have him on a good nutritious diet that will
get him on track. He also needs patella surgery on
one leg and will have that done before adoption.
We are trying to schedule it for the first week in
August.
He
would make a very nice companion for someone who
is alone (if you are able to spend most of your
time with him) or even a great addition
to a family with no small children or large dogs,
and it would be nice if he had a yard or fenced
deck area to play outdoors. He's never been able
to do that, and appears to love the yard. He
is used to being with other dogs and needs at
least one other little dog as a companion if you
have normal working hours.
If you can give Taco a home, please go to our
website and read the adoption requirements and
process, and complete an application. You must
live in OH/IN/KY/IL/MN/MI/WI. (cm)
