Hi,
My
name is Vivi (short for Vivian). I came to
live in a foster home because my mom got sick and
couldn't take care of me any more. When I
came to CRT, I had lost most of my hair on my tail
and my back. It itched so much, and I chewed
at it to make it feel better, but it only got
worse. Then I went to the vet and got some
great shampoo to take a bath in, and some soothing
spray to put on it. My hair grew back in and
it feels so much better now. It could happen
again, but my foster mom is keeping the special
shampoo handy just in case.
The
vet also said that I have something called a heart
murmur. He recommended pills that I will
need to take for my whole life. I am a good
girl and take my pill every morning. It
hasn't slowed me down any. I love to run and
play just like all of my Chihuahua cousins in my
foster home. The vet said that I could live
just as long as any other Chihuahua if I keep
taking my pills. That sounds good to me
because I am just 5
years old, and I intend to stick around for a
while. In
fact, I've been sticking around here for quite a
while now! My weight is
perfect at just 6 lbs., 14 oz.
I
am looking for a home with at least one other
small dog as a playmate, and no little children or
larger dogs. I definitely need a very
securely fenced yard because I love to run like
the wind. I am very loving with my foster
mom. It takes me a few days to warm up to
new people, but I am very sweet when I get to know
a person. I will sit on your lap if you want
me to, but I am also content to sit beside you or
get in my dog bed for a nap if you are busy.
If you think I am the one for you, just complete
the adoption application, and then e-mail Laura
at MidwestCoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com
to let her know you think Vivi should come live
with you. I will be waiting to hear from
you.
You
must live in OH/IN/KY/WI/IL/MN/MI (cm)
Love,
Vivi
