Hello everyone! My name is Adam. Just like Adam was
the first man on the earth, I would love to be the first
man in your life! I am a "Ladies' Man" - yes, I LOVE
the women! Hey - I like my foster Daddy too, but I
follow the women in the house everywhere! I take a
little while to warm up but am friendly with people and
just love hanging around with my family.
I'm a handsome little
fellow. I have a beautiful long tri-colored coat
(primarily white with some black and brown). They say I
might be part Papillion because I have beautiful
"butterfly" ears! I am a solid 8 pounds. And I just
turned 2 years old (we celebrate my birthday in January
every year!), so I am out of the puppy stage but am
young and looking forward to a long life with you!
My foster Mom says I'm really smart. I am housetrained
and know how to use the doggy door to go outside to
potty. I know many basic commands such as "outside",
"go potty", "go to bed" and even "no"! Mom says I
would probably love additional training because I pick
things up quickly! I love to ride in cars with you.
And I'll come running to you when you call.
I am also a great watch
dog. My personality is calm and quiet - I am NOT an
"in-your-face" chihuahua who is hyper and barks all the
time. But if anyone is coming up to the house, I'll
bark to let you know before they get to the door. I am
loyal and will do my part to make sure our home is
safe!
I enjoy playing with my foster brother and sister
chihuahuas, so I would be good in a group or I would be
good as an "only child". In the evenings, I love
jumping up next to you on the couch and watching TV with
you - especially if you pet me! Sometimes I'll get up
on the top of the couch and lay there to watch all the
activity, and still be as close to my family as I can!
When it's time for bed, I usually sleep in my own
bed (there not enough room in my foster Mommy and
Daddy's bed for our entire family!) but I think I would
love sleeping with you too! When you are away, I do
great behind a baby gate (I don't like crates - they
feel too confining to me).
My foster Mommy says I am a
joy to foster, and am a very smart, loving dog. I love
my foster Mommy and Daddy, but I am ready for my forever
home. If you are looking for that # 1 man in your life
who will steal your heart - please adopt me - Adam! I
promise to make you # 1 in my heart too!
Adam is neutered, micro
chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on
heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving
family - could that family be yours?
