Put A Little Love In Your Life - Adopt A Chihuahua

CHARLIE

This is Charlie. He was found as a stray out in the country and is probably around 4 yrs. old. Charlie has a great personality and quickly went from fending for himself to being a fabulous lap dog with all the luxuries of being part of a human family. He seems very appreciative of the new life. He gets along with all sizes of dogs and cats. He likes to rough house with the cat, but all in fun. Our cat enjoys it, too.

He is playful but not hyper. He will occasionally find a sock and start a game of toss the sock to entertain himself. He also enjoys curling up for a nap in your lap.

Charlie walks on a leash (using a harness) and is crate trained. He bonded quickly to my three year old and likes to greet her with kisses every day. Since he is gentle and tolerant of children, it might be possible for him to go to a home with children if your children are old enough to be gentle around small dogs. He weighs about 7 pounds, and therefore cannot be subjected to rough handling.

We are still working on reducing his marking behavior. He would do best to join a home without another male dog. Since being neutered, his marking behavior has subsided greatly, and as long as he is taken out regularly, he is doing exceptionally well with his potty habits.

If you are looking for a dog that will give you unconditional love and companionship, Charlie might be the dog for you. It is my hope that he can find the family he deserves and have the opportunity to give and receive love forever and ever.

Charlie is neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative.
