Danny is a three year old Chihuahua mix.  He weighs about nine pounds.  When he came to CRT, he was extremely thin, and all of his ribs showed.   He had been picked up by animal control as a stray.  Because he spent a lot of his life rummaging for food, he LOVES to eat, and will guard the food bowl, from other dogs, so needs to be fed separately.  He gets along fine with other dogs, or would be okay as an only dog, as long as he gets enough attention.  He is very affectionate and sweet.  He loves to be around his "human", and likes to go for walks.  He likes to play with toys...especially soft ones with squeakers!!!  He will make a great companion for that person looking for a "best friend".
