JERRY UPDATE - April 1, 2008

Jerry's treatment for mange is going well as you can see by the new photos. The scabs are gone, he is filling out, and the hair is slowly growing in. He has at least a month of treatment for mange still to come. We hope he will be ready for his furever home at the beginning of May. He is a sweet boy who loves everyone.

Jerry is a sweet, 6 month old Chihuahua boy who was a stray at an area shelter. A lot of puppies get mange, but it is easily treated. Jerry's previous owners did not treat his mange, so he has only a few patches of hair left; the rest of his body is one big scab. Jerry is getting treatment for the mange & is doing better, but it will take time to grow all the hair back. In spite of this, Jerry is a happy, outgoing little guy.
