Put A Little Love In Your Life - Adopt A Chihuahua

This is a special needs dog. Special needs dogs are those dogs that have medical, physical,
or other attributes that require special care or environment. They are not available
for adoption at this time, but would welcome "best friends" to help with their care.

MAXINE

İ My best friend is David DiMarcantonio
İİİİİİ My best friend is Belinda Harrington - Thanks for the donation!
(Maxine is one of my favorite dogs, so I personally think Belinda is the greatest.)

NAME: Maxine
GENDER: Female
AGE: 13 years
DOGS/CATS: Maxine gets along with the cat, but the other dogs scare her because she is blind.
CHILDREN: No

Maxine is a sweet little old 4-5# lady who still has a lot of love to give; she didn't deserve to be discarded like trash. She was found blind and wandering the streets when picked up by animal control. Her time was up at the shelter as she was considered "unadoptable" due to her age and blindness; CRT knew she deserved better. She was someone's loving companion for all those years; now it's her turn to be loved. Maxine is quiet and gets around well; she is very small and easy to care for. If someone has a lap to share, she would be very grateful.

Maxine is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. She takes some inexpensive medications for her heart.

If you are interested in adopting Maxine, and you live in the Dallas, north central Texas, or Oklahoma City area, please email the applicationcoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com.  Please read about our adoption process, and then complete an application before emailing the contact person.
