Sassy is petite, about 4 pounds, and 11 years old.
She was released by an owner who was potentially going to be
homeless. Prissy is her sister but they are available separately.
Sassy is tan with a cream face.
Sassy loves to follow you around the yard. When
foster mom was tilling a garden, Sassy followed along behind – just
to be with mom. And if you’re working on the computer, Sassy
expects to lay on the bed on the desk, alongside you. Sassy would
like a permanent lap to to velcro to. Sassy gets along with other
dogs, unless The Big Dog gets too friendly with her tailpipe — then
she spins to give him attitude! She also likes to chase the Big
Dog around the yard. Sassy has a low grade heart murmur that
shouldn’t affect her health. Sassy is generally housebroken, but
forgets once in awhile and puddles. She will use a wee pad.
Sassy purrs with joy when given kisses and hugs. She
really likes to snuggle in bed, and gives a little nuzzle before
settling under the covers. Sassy just showed mom she knows a
trick. After petting one night, she unexpectedly sat up on her
haunches for more!! She was praised like a champion, and did it
again!
Sassy has been vaccinated, microChipped, spayed and
had her teeth cleaned. She has a luxating patella which has been
evaluated by the vet, but she gets around great and doesn’t need
surgery.
Sassy will bring years of love and joy to her new
home.
