DOGS/CATS: Sugar gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home; Sugar loves his cat friend, Gracie May.

Hi, my name is Sugar. My full name is Sugar Buger. Don't let my sweet name fool you though; I am very much a boy!!

I have a pretty sad story. My best friend, Gracie May (she is a cat), and I have lived together our entire life. My mom was a great mom; she took very good care of us until she started hanging out with some bad people, and I started to see her less and less. Thankfully, we had a wonderful grandma, and, when mom would go missing for several weeks at a time, grandma always came to the rescue to help me and Gracie. Life was good, but grandma had several dogs of her own, and, when mom finally showed up to come and get us. Grandma told her it was time to for mom to seek professional help and for Gracie and I to go live with the people at Chihuahua Rescue. We have been with our new foster mom for a couple of months now. My new foster mom even let Gracie come live with us, too!

Sugar is a 4-1/2 year old, very well-behaved boy. He is pretty independent, but does get along nicely with the other dogs. He is heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative, current on all of his vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. He weighs about 5-1/2 lbs, but is very muscular.
