Update: As of today, July 14th, Dr Turner has given
Toby his seal of approval declaring that both his legs are
completely healed now. Tonight we took him out of his crate and
off his leash and let him play with all the other dogs!!! He is so
happy!!!! He can now run, jump, dash, leap and pounce with the
rest of them. He still has plates on both legs and his future
adoptee will need to know that at some point those may need to be
removed but as long as they don't bother him it is o.k. to leave
them. As his foster mom, I will always be available for questions
or concerns in the future. He loves to be cuddled and he likes to
play with the other dogs. However, due to his past injuries his
future home will need to have mature children and family members
that understand jumping off of the couch and/or bed should be
prohibited. He is a complete joy to have and I will venture to say
that YOU will be the lucky one should he become your next forever
companion.
**If you are interested in adopting these dogs and
you live in the Dallas, north central Texas area or in the
Oklahoma City area, please email the
applicationcoordinator@Chihuahua-rescue.com .
Please be sure to read our adoption
process and then fill out an adoption
application before emailing the contact person.
