My best friend is Cindy Devinney! (It's good to

Ty is a smart, energetic,
fun-loving, "I wanna go where you go" kind of guy. He will
smother you with kisses along the way if you let him. Ty is
good with children, cats, and dogs his size or larger; the
smaller ones get overpowered. He can jump standing still at
least 3 - 4 feet in the air! My nephew says he is a "Buff"
dog; he is very muscular at 16lbs. The pictures below will
show you what kind of condition he was in when we first got
him.He is also a
softie when it comes time to lounge on the couch; he's one
of the biggest snuggle bugs I've had. He loves squeaky toys
and to chase the ball. He has adjusted superbly to the
plush life indoors.
Ty has been in foster care since about June of 2007. His
beginnings started as a puppy in a shelter in N. Texas.
However, the people who took him out of the shelter thought
that tying him to a tree and feeding him intermittently was
o.k. for a dog. When CRT got him he was heartworm positive,
very malnourished, and covered in fleas, ticks and fly
bites. He is now happy, healthy and ready for his new
forever home!!
Ty will need to find a home that has time for him. He is
housebroken, crate trained, leash trained and does fine
alone, but he prefers 
interaction with people and other dogs.

neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative, and
microchipped. If Ty could talk to you, he would say "Here I
am, Let's go!!!"
