I know I have a silly name but I think I am a silly little girl. My foster mom thinks I am so cute like a little baby possum. I am a Terrier – Chihuahua mix, probably more terrier than chi but who’s counting.

 I really am sweet. I like to curl on your lap and at your feet to protect you always. I have a nice foster mom and I am very protective of her but she says that I can get someone all to myself which is what I would really like.

I’ve always been around lots of dogs and not been taken care of very well. Before I came to the Chihuahua people, I had a huge 6 pound tumor on my little belly. Now that is gone and I am so happy to go on walks, to go and play, to go in the water, just to walk normally is a great thing.

I am very well trained to go outside to potty and I do not mind kitties, I actually like them. I am 9 years ‘very young’ and sometimes when I do not want to be bothered by those ‘young ins’ dogs I curl my lip up and hiss- just like a baby possum. I stop when I am told but they get the picture. Please so not let my age fool you. I can live another 9 years – you never know! I am healthy now and feel like a million mighty dogs! I am watching what I eat too and my girlish figure is beginning to show. I may be 13 pounds now but it’s going down.

My foster mom says it is possible to live with another dog or maybe just me and you in your home that will be my forever home. I just cannot imagine my own home with my own person. (OK and maybe my own dog and my own cat – well maybe if that is what you have) Anyway, I can hope!!!
