I am Pearl and more outgoing than my sister so I will go ahead and tell you all about us. We are elegant, Chihuahua mixes (Basenji they say) but that does not matter. We are in a Chihuahua rescue and hang with other Chihuahuas. Anyway, we are so pretty – so much prettier than any other dog, the breed does not matter. We are slim girls, only 9 pounds, and tall which adds to our beauty. I, Pearl, are much more outgoing then my sister, Ruby, who is a little more reserved. We do not like to engage in fussy barking nor do we play with just anyone. We like to really lie on your lap and give you kisses. We have been sick though so we have had to relax and not play or walk outside on leashes.

We are recovering from the Heartworm thing and it will be a while before we are available for adoption. I just thought that maybe if you saw a picture of me, the lighter color girl with my sister that you will keep us in mind when it is time to adopt – maybe around September. We would really like to stay together. Until then we would love to hear from some friends. Until we are totally cured, can you be our special friend or friends?
