The CRT Midwest Rescue Group
will hold its 5th annual Chiesta on July 19, 2008. This event is an
opportunity to thank all Midwest CRT volunteers and adopters of our dogs as well
as raise some needed funds for our rescue efforts.
As we have in the past, we are
offering seven items for an open raffle to assist in our fund-raising efforts.
These items are all hand crafted, one of a kind designs, by some of our rescue
volunteers. Anyone many purchase raffle tickets for these items, you need not
be present to win. If winner is not present at the drawing all items will be
sent to free of charge by the event coordinator.
Raffle tickets are $1.00 each
or 6 for $5.00. You may indicate which item(s) you would like to purchase
tickets for and your tickets will be entered into the raffle of that item only.
Tickets may be purchased by
sending a check payable to CRT to: Brenda Boggs, 556 Brandwynne Ct, Dayton, Ohio
45459. Brenda is the coordinator of the event. Please indicate which item(s)
you wish to bid on and also enclose your email address so Brenda can mail your
acknowledgement and your ticket numbers to you. OR, you may send your raffle
ticket purchase via PayPal. Send the PayPal payment to
bburns5@woh.rr.com and indicate in your
message which item(s) you wish to purchase tickets toward.
The seven items for raffle are:
#1 Women’s “Gone to the Dogs” Custom Design Jacket
designed by Brenda Boggs.

The
latest in Sweatshirt Jackets. This Size Large Jacket is constructed of quality
100% cotton Dog prints with three pockets. The jacket has over 10 different dog
prints with a pocket on each front panel and a doggie print pocket on the left
sleeve. This versatile Jacket has a warm black fleece sweatshirt as the lining
and a unique Dog Paw Print button closure at the neck. Adjustable cuffs on the
sleeve allow the wearer to lengthen or shorten the sleeves to desired length.
The fabric cost alone in the jacket is over $75.00.
#2 Women’s Size 2X “Gone to
the Dogs” Jacket designed by Brenda Boggs


This custom made Women’s Jacket is of 100% quality cotton prints over a gray
sweatshirt base. Just the thing for walking your dog on those chilly fall
evenings. The right front panel has three pockets down the front that
feature a long-hair Chihuahua face. Adjustable cuffs on the sleeves allow
the user to lengthen or shorten the sleeve as desired. Jacket features a
brushed brass paw print button.
Item # 3 Flannel Chihuahua
Lap Quilt

A custom-designed 100% cotton
flannel lap quilt 44 inches by 32 inches, handcrafted by Gloria Comstock. This
quilt features 6 inch (approximately) flannel squares of white, purple and
lavender Chihuahua prints. Each square is delicately machine embroidered in
light pink with rows or machine quilting enhancing the outer edges of the quilt.
The backing is solid white flannel.
Item #4 A custom-design wall hanging quilt by Denise Barnette

If
you are a cat lover you will want to display this wall hanging in your home.
This 17inch by 22 inch all cotton quilt has a hanging panel on the back ready
for inserting a dowel rod. Two well fed cats amid lots of country-style flowers
make this darling wall-hanging unique.
Item # 5 A lap quilt (approximately 6 feet by 5 feet) by Laura Stack, one of our
adopters.

This 100% cotton machine
quilted lap quilt features 42 different dog prints to comprise just the thing
for cuddling with your Chihuahua on cold winter evenings. (Please note,
Chihuahua is not included)

Custom made dog leash by Shawn Combs

Just the right size leash for
walking your Chihuahua! This patriotic print leash measures approximately 5 ½
feet and is reinforced with Black nylon webbing (1/2” width) and has a ½ inch
round snap hook for easy attachment to your dogs harness or collar.

choice of any outfit from Toys Doggie Design donated by Linda Jordan

You may choose any outfit from Linda Jordon’s website, Toy’s Doggy Designs.
These custom- made harness outfits for your little ones are specifically
designed for small dogs. Shipping and handling charges are included with this
prize.
All proceeds from the raffle go
to CRT. Contributors have not charged CRT for any materials or labor. Please
support our efforts to provide quality care to our Chihuahuas and in return you
just might win a fabulous prize!
