We're convinced that Carmen fell from Heaven, and we're awfully glad this little angel landed with us!  She is a sweet, gentle, loving little girl who appreciates any and every drop of kindness that people are willing to give her.  People think she is much older than she is because of her quiet nature and coloring, but she is still a youngster at only 4 to 5 years old.  Carmen prances when she walks and LOVES to play with toys.  She'll grab one and shake it around, then run off with it in a flash!  To see a video of Carmen in action, check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YCwSnpWO0k.  Although she does great around other small dogs and cats and would do beautifully in a home with either or both, she would probably be even happier being her people's only furry baby if that's what you are looking for.
 
When it isn't playtime, Carmen adores being held and cuddled.  She's currently on a diet to reclaim her girlish figure.  She has a short, soft coat that isn't much help against the cold, so when it's chilly she likes to wear a shirt or sweater or snuggle down in a warm blankie or nice lap.  Carmen loves men and women alike, and likes to be with her people as much as possible.  She was not treated very nicely in her previous home, so she can still be a bit shy and easily intimidated, but relaxes the instant she realizes that nobody is going to hurt her.  All Carmen wants is a forever home with people to love her that she can love in return.  If you'd like to be the lucky family who brings this angel home, please fill out an application today!
