Petey is one of a kind!  On the one hand, he is a precious little cuddle-bug who loves attention.  On the other hand, he's sturdy and fun, and loves to play.  He especially likes playing 'Get Petey', fetch, and tug-o-war with his people or another dog.  He is quite the ladies man, and in his foster home can often be found with one of the female dogs.  He would love to have a female dog in his new home, but would be just as happy being the star and having all your affection to himself.  He loves to be held and kissed and cuddled, and also enjoys playing with toys and his girlfriends.  To see a video of Petey in action, check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBlJoZmRRVM.

This is one handsome boy!  People are always commenting on his gorgeous brindle coat.  He even has a cute little white mouth, like he dipped his lips in sugar.  Maybe that's why he's so sweet!  Don't let that white fool you, though- this little guy is still a youngster at only 5 years old.  Petey loves to follow his people around and just soaks up any attention he can get.  He's a smart boy, and already knows how to use a dog door and walk on a leash.  If you like to put t-shirts and sweaters on your dog, Petey doesn't mind at all, as long as they don't get in the way of his manly image!  The gleam in his eye shows off his excellent sense of humor, and he's always doing silly things to earn your attention.  All Petey needs to make his dreams come true is a forever home with a family to love.  If you'd like that family to be yours, please fill out an application to meet Petey today!
