Albert is a wonderful little guy.  He's now in a foster home that is working on getting his extra weight off.  He's lost some but still has a ways to go.  His energy level is much greater than it was when he was heavier.  He is so cute when he gets a toy and chases it around.  We often find them in his crate because he likes to sleep with them!

Albie is housetrained, never having an accident!  He loves other dogs and kids too.  He follows us around in the yard and also in the house.  He loves to lay next to you and have his head scratched.  He sleeps in a crate at night but can also be a good boy in a doggy bed if you'd prefer that.  He enjoys laying in the sun on a nice day and will stay outside in the yard with us for as long as we are out there.  He loves his people and wants to be with them all the time!  We are working on leash walking with him.  He does well but when he's tired, he literally sits down.  We're working on shorter distances right now!

Albert is on a strict diet.  He gets a small measured amount of food every day.  If you're interested in Albert, you have to understand that he has to be monitored on his food intake.  If allowed, he will become obese again very easily.  So, if you're looking for a wonderful companion and can commit to helping him keep his weight off, look at Albert!  He's a great little guy waiting for his forever home.
