Chi Chi, who is estimated to be around 7 years old,  plays like a puppy, but has the calm demeanor of a mature dog.  She is great with all people, including children.  She sometimes plays with my other Chihuahuas, but for the most part is more interested in people's laps than other dogs.  She gets along fine with the cat.  Chi Chi is 6 pounds of  love and patience.  She loves to be close to you, and likes to snuggle under covers.  She enjoys car rides.  Chi Chi walks very well on a leash.  She just needs a family to call her own again.
 
 Chi Chi landed in a cage at an animal shelter when her owner had to go live in a nursing home.  She was left there along with her sibling who was adopted the very next day.  Unfortunately for Chi Chi, a year went by, and she still had not found a home.  When I heard about her, and thought about her previous owner who would be devastated to know no one out there was taking care of her baby I just had to give her a second chance.  Without the chance she would have been put to sleep because the shelter was full.
