Put A Little Love In Your Life - Adopt A Chihuahua

HOGIE

NAME:  Hogie
GENDER : Male-neutered
AGE:  4-5 yrs.
DOGS/CATS:  Hogie is okay with other small dogs and cats.
CHILDREN:  No.  Hogie does not care for children, so must go to an all-adult home.

Hogie is a darling 5 lb. Chi boy who is looking for a furever home with no children and preferably no men.  We don't know Hogie's history, but his past experiences with children and men were apparently traumatic for him since he avoids both if he can and is very stressed if he is forced to interact with men or children.  He is devoted to his foster Mom, but limits his interaction with his foster Dad as much as possible.

Hogie is a sweet, snuggly little dog who gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home; he seems to enjoy being one of the pack, but doesn't really play with any of the other dogs.  He seems to be quite content to stick to his own space, so would probably do well as an only dog or with just one other small dog as company.  Hogie loves to sleep under the covers or snuggle up with you to watch TV.  As long as you direct his pottying schedule, Hogie does very well.

Hogie's wish list for his furever home would include a single-woman adopter with no more than one other dog and a warm spot in the bed and/or recliner; pretty simple requests from a deserving little guy.  If you are looking for a devoted companion and you meet Hogie's requirements, then please submit an adoption application soon; Hogie is packed and ready to begin the rest of his life.

Hogie is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention.

***If you are interested in adopting Hogie, and you live in the Dallas, north central Texas, or Oklahoma City area, please email the applicationcoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com.   Please read about our adoption process and fill out an adoption application before emailing the contact person.
