Mia is an absolutely stunning little girl!  She is sweet as sugar and very loving, and has a heart as big as Texas.  She likes attention, but isn't needy or clingy.  She especially loves to snuggle under the covers with her foster mom, where she's safe and warm.  We think that Mia's previous owner probably didn't give her much attention, and as a result, she can be a little timid and shy with new people.  She sniffs them and wags her tail when they come over to her house, but she wants to be sure they won't hurt her before she asks for attention.  Her new home will need to be filled with lots of love and understanding to help her come out of her shell.

Mia likes to play, especially with squeaky toys, and enjoys chewing on rawhides.  She gets along beautifully with all the other small dogs in her foster home.  She will do great in a home with other dogs or as an only dog.  To see a video of Mia, please visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=froyFNbjn3Q.  This lovable little beauty is just waiting for her forever family to find her.  If you'd like that family to be yours, please fill out an application to meet Mia today!  Mia is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, micro-chipped and on heart worm preventative.
