Sophie is a beautiful girl who just can't wait for a home of her own.  When she came to CRT, she was overweight at 11 lbs, but her foster mom has slimmed her down to a healthy 9 lbs.  Sophie is gentle and well behaved and has never had an accident in her foster home.  She is very sweet and loves to be petted and cuddled and sweet-talked.  When there's no attention available from her people, she's happy to curl up in a dog bed and relax or chew a rawhide.  She also likes soft squeaky toys!  To see a video of sweet Sophie, please visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v18kotAkdhQ.

Sophie is great with the other small dogs in her foster home, and she mothers all of them by kissing and cleaning them.  She likes to play from time to time with her foster sisters, too.  She would fit in perfectly with a home that has other dogs, but if you want her to be the only star, we think she would enjoy that, too!  Sophie is one of those dogs who is just perfect.  She doesn't bark much, isn't hyper or demanding, and is happy just to be with you.  At only 7 years old, she's just reaching middle age, and likely has just as many or more years ahead of her as she has behind her.  We know that whoever adopts her will be just as shocked as we are that her previous owner ever let her go!  If you would like to make Sophie a part of your family, please fill out an application to meet her today!  She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and on heart worm preventative.
