dogs his size; there are no cats in his foster home though
he would probably just pester them to play;-)
ENERGY LEVEL: Tristan is very
active; he needs lots of exercise.
CHILDREN: Tristan would be a
great dog for children over 8 yrs. old.
In folklore, Tristan was a tragic
warrior and lover, but our wonderful red-headed Chi
boy is definitely more 'lover' than fighter, and
the only thing tragic about him is that his previous owner
neglected him until he looked like a walking skeleton. His
sad past hasn't dampened Tristan's spirit one bit; good
food and medical care has brought him to a good
weight near 8 lbs., and his coat is starting to take on
a nice sheen as he sheds the brittle coat he was
wearing.
Tristan is a very active dog who loves
playing with his foster siblings and wants to know what
his humans are doing at all times; he is so hungry for
the attention he never had before. Tristan has the
longest legs you will ever see on such a little guy, and he
can run like the wind. His wish list in a new home
include a warm bed, good food, another small dog to play
with, and maybe even a couple of young human playmates as
well. He is looking for love, and he is eager to
please.
Tristan is working on his house manners
and doing well with some direction from his foster family.
He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations,
heartworm negative, and current on heartworm prevention.
