My name is DeeDee and I am a 6-year-old spayed female Chihuahua.  My foster mom says that I am a little love bug.  My former owner had to move into a retirement community that didn't allow pets, so I had to find a new place to hang out.  I have been diagnosed with bilateral detached retinas and am legally blind.  My foster mom says that I get along really well and that I have adapted to my new foster home and yard just fine.  I love to sit with you and cuddle and I sleep in my little bed in my crate with my two favorite stuffed animals that I've had since I was a pup.  I can be very protective on "my person" so my foster mom is in the process of teaching me that I do not need to bark or growl at new people when they come over and she says that I am doing a lot better with my protective attitude. I was a little over weight when I first came in but now weigh approximately 3-4 lbs.  I am totally house trained and love to go outside and walk on a leash.  I ride in the car just fine and love to go.  My adoption fee is $200 and a home visit will be required so I can only be adopted in NC/SC and possibly VA. Please be sure to read our adoption process and then fill out an adoption application before emailing wildlifeed2@aol.com if you are interested me.
