Hello! I was named
Gypsy because by the time I was 10 weeks old, I had lived in 4
different homes. For some reason, my previous owners just
couldn't commit to the responsibilities of taking care of me so
they just kept giving me away. Lucky for me, I found my
current foster home and became one of CRT's foster Chihuahuas.
I was born in August of 2009, so I am currently 6 months old.
My foster mom says that I am a very sweet puppy who is very
energetic and who loves to play with my toys and with my foster's
other dogs. I get along great with cats and at night, I love
to sleep in my foster people's bed and snuggle. My foster
folks have steps that help me get up on the bed or on the sofa,
where I love to watch television. Yes, I watch television.
I play most of the day with a couple of nap breaks, love to lay in
someone's lap for quiet time and then at night I sleep hard,
down under the covers. I will pee in a litter box and on
puppy pads. I will poop on puppy pads. I will also go
outside and do my business, if you take me. My foster mom
says that I am pretty predictable and will go out right after
getting up and do all my business. I am looking for a loving
home that has plenty of time to play with me. This home will
need to be patient with me as I am still just a pup and I am still
learning about life. My new home will also need to have a
fenced in back yard. I walk on a leash and ride in a car
very well. I am spayed, UTD on my shots and on HW
preventative. If you think that you can offer me my forever
home, then please read about our adoption process and then fill
out an application.
My adoption fee is $300 and I can only be adopted in NC/SC and VA.
A home visit and adoption contract will be required.
Please be sure to
read our adoption process
and then fill out an adoption
application before emailing carolinascoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com
if you are interested me.
