Hello! I’m known as Venus and I’m a
very beautiful long-haired Chihuahua. I was dropped off at a
local shelter, where I was scared to death and thought that I
had to bite everyone who tried to touch me. Luckily, one of the
shelter workers saw my potential and starting working with me
and then contacted Chihuahua Rescue and Transport so that I
could get even more help. My foster mom is working really hard
with me, and I am starting to see that people are a good thing.
I’m still a little apprehensive when I first meet new people,
but I don’t think that I have to run up and bite them just
because they are new to me.
I love to sleep in my foster mom’s
bedroom right beside the bed, and I love to go outside and
explore her big fenced in back yard. Sometimes when she calls me
to come in, I stay way out in the woods and pretend that I
don’t hear her, until she comes looking for me and then I run
like crazy to the back door and act like I’ve been there the
whole time.
I was recently diagnosed with a heart
murmur that makes me cough but my foster mom gives me medicine
which helps with the coughing.
***My adoption fee is $200. A home
visit will be required so I can only be adopted in NC/SC and possibly
VA. Reference checks, adoption contract and adoption fee required.
Please be sure to read our adoption process
and then fill out an adoption
application before emailing wildlifeed2@aol.com
if you are interested in this dog.
