Mario and Sophia are two Chihuahuas who came together to CRT. Their human owner unexpectedly passed away. CRT has agreed to bring Mario and Sophia in to our program and find them a new forever home. This brother and sister combo are bonded and they really do well together. They have lived the last 3 years of their lives together and we would LOVE for them to be adopted together. If your home is open for two (or you know of a home), please consider Mario and Sophia.
Mario and Sophia have wonderful personalities. These two could write a book on how to be super sweet, loving and absolutely no trouble at all. They both get along great with the other dogs in their foster home. Sophia loves to play with toys of all kinds. When the squeaker goes off, she get so excited! Mario is less interested in toys, but occasionally he will pick one up for a little bit of fun. They also enjoy being outside in the sun. They both love to explore and play in the yard.
Mario and Sophia definitely do everything together. Even though they both have a doggie bed, they love to crawl in to the same doggie bed and curl up next to each other when taking afternoon naps. Their bond and loyality to each other melts our hearts. Mario and Sophia will sleep in their doggie beds at night, but they prefer to climb up in your bed and sleep with you. They can often be found snoozing on their foster Mom and Dad’s pillows on the big bed during the day!
Mario and Sophia love their humans. They want to be with you and share life, love and adventures with you. Their foster Mom has a home office and they love to cuddle in a doggie bed and snooze while she is working on her computer. And at night, they share lap time with their foster Mom as she watches TV. They will literally lay on top of each other trying to see who can snuggle the most with you!
Mario and Sophia are super smart. They are both potty trained and will also use pee pee pads. They have fit in to the foster home routines immediately. Their foster Mom says they are two of the easiest fosters she has ever had. They are happy, they get along with dogs and people, and are just adorable dogs who want to be around their family. If you are looking for love – these are your Chihuahuas.
Sophia is the younger sister at 3 years old. She weighs a perfect 6.5 pounds. She has the cutest floppy ears which perfectly fit her personality. Sophia is the more outgoing of the two and will be the social chairman of your house. Mario is the older brother at 8 years old. He weighs about 10 pounds (and the vet said we might want to help him reduce his weight to 9 pounds or so). Mario is the brother who keeps a watch over things and makes sure everyone is safe. He is a bit more measured, making sure new visitors are ok before getting attached! They get along with everyone, including children. They grew up around teenagers, and know how to fit into a family environment. They will make great family dogs. For anyone who is looking for a few wonderful companions, please consider Mario and Sophia.
