Hershey Kiss was found as a stray in Oak Park, Illinois, on March 16, 2023. He is both blind and deaf, but that has never stopped him from forming deep bonds with those he trusts. When he first arrived at his foster home, he was given the time and space to come out of his shell on his own. Almost immediately, a strong connection was formed, as he eagerly gave kisses and allowed himself to be held. Though he was initially put up for adoption through CRT, it quickly became clear that he was most comfortable with his foster family and did not tolerate children well. Hershey Kiss needed someone who would be patient, kind, and understanding of his unique needs. As a result, he became a permanent foster. Despite his challenges, Hershey Kiss is a playful little boy who loves to shower his family with affection and kisses.
