Nibbler

Our family was devastated when we lost our beloved Chihuahua, Sephie. After we’d had some time to grieve, we decided that we were ready to fill the void she had left us with and bring another Chihuahua into our lives. We knew we’d never buy from a breeder and began the search online for rescue groups. I discovered the Chihuahua Rescue & Transport group through Petfinder while doing a search online. I scrolled through the pictures of the Chihuahuas in need homes through the group. One immediately caught my eye. Her name was “Teki” and she was one of a group of puppies whose mother was being fostered when she gave birth. She was absolutely beautiful and I knew I had to meet her. I contacted Carla who was fostering the puppies and she arranged for our home visit. After the application process, our family was incredibly excited to meet Teki. From the moment she showed up at our door, we knew she was a part of our family. Her arrival fell just days before my husband’s birthday and he claims she’s “the best birthday present ever”. Now, 4 months later, “Teki” is now ” Nibbler ” and our home is her home, forever. My daughter, Madeline, refers to Nibbler as her sister. She is a beloved member of our family. I can’t thank the Chihuahua Rescue & Transport group enough for the generous work they do to save the lives of abandoned Chihuahuas and for bringing Nibbler into our lives.
