Meet Bella!
Miss Bella is a tiny female chihuahua that is a bundle of energy. She is 2 years old and weighs about 5 lbs. Bella was surrendered to the Guilford County Animal Shelter because she did not get along well with small children.
Bella is very playful and is currently in a foster home with (4) other dogs. Bella is very possessive of her foster mom and gets aggressive when any of the other dogs try to get near her foster mom. She will sometimes play with the other dogs but will get aggressive easily so it would probably be best if Bella was in a home with no other dogs and no small children. She has not been tested around cats.
Bella loves to go for walks and is leash trained. She is also crate trained. Her foster mom takes her out often to potty so she hasn’t had but one accident in the house.
Bella is currently up to date on her vaccinations but will require boosters, microchipping and spaying before she can be adopted officially- she will be foster to adopt status until then. She is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm preventative.
Bella’s adoption donation is $300.

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.
Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
