Hi, I’m Cricket!
Cricket is an 8 year old (estimated birth Sept 2015) female tan-colored chihuahua in need of a new home. She weighs about five pounds.
Cricket is a little bundle of love! Cricket loves to snuggle and burrow in the covers and tends to warm up quickly to new people. She gets along well with other dogs, with cats, and with children. She wants to play with the others in the house but is way smaller than them! She barks at strangers and is an excellent alarm system!
Cricket does have some anxiety with being picked up, so her foster mom is trying to work on this with her. She also gets very anxious when wearing a harness or attached to a leash, but she does well with her collar. This may make it difficult for her to travel but hopefully it will improve as she gains comfort in her new home.
Cricket has good house manners- she is pee pad trained and never misses! She will go potty outside also, when given the opportunity.
Cricket had her spay and dental earlier this year and is now ready for her new home! Cricket is still underweight and has a 2/6 grade heart murmur but is otherwise healthy. Cricket is up to date on her vaccinations and has been fully vetted. She is heartworm negative. Cricket is microchipped.
Cricket’s adoption donation is $300.00.
