Meet Grady!
If you are looking for a Velcro dog, Grady is your man. Grady is a delightful 6.5 lb male Chihuahua that is 12 years old. He likes to be near his person, constantly following you around the house and snuggling beside you on the couch. He likes to get under blankets. He sleeps in the bed with his foster mom.
Grady is up to date on his vaccinations. He does have health challenges. He has a grade 2-3 heart murmur which currently does not require any medication. He also has kidney disease. He is on the Hill Science KD diet. He is fed twice per day. He is not crazy about the KD diet so you have to spice it up a little for him to eat. With the vet’s permission, his foster mom currently mixes in either pasta or rice and adds a small amount of No Salt Chicken Broth. With these additives, Grady is usually a clean plater! Grady does not have any teeth so his foster mom also mashes up his food to make it easier to eat. Grady also has arthritis in his back which causes his back legs to be wobbly sometimes. He is currently on a once-a-month injection of Librela to help with the pain. Grady is also almost blind and seems to be hearing impaired.
If taken out often, Grady does not have accidents in the house. He sometimes wears a belly wrap to help him not have accidents.
Although Grady does have quite a few health issues, he still has a lot of love to give and needs to be loved as well. Hopefully, with good care, Grady still has a lot of years left!
He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, HW Negative and on HW preventative.
If you are looking for a low key dapper little dude to join your home, Grady is your man!
His adoption donation is $250.00.
