Tinker joined CRT in 2018 after being rescued from a shelter in Ohio. At the time, he was estimated to be around 10-12 years old, making him an impressive 19 years old today. Despite his age, he’s still in fairly good shape. When he arrived, he had a few challenges, including a heart murmur, poor eyesight, a strong dislike for cats, and a habit of marking. In recent years, he has developed seizures and is now blind. He takes medication for his eyes and only when needed for seizures.
Tinker has truly enjoyed being part of the Chihuahua pack. A few years ago, he was even seen trying to play with another senior Chi in the home—a heartwarming sight. He loves spending warm, sunny days outside with his canine companions, curling up in his dog bed, and, of course, receiving treats and affection. Tinker is a sweet old soul who has lived a good life and is cherished in his forever foster home.
