Introducing…Watcher!
Watcher is a 3 year old male chihuahua weighing in at around 4.5 pounds. Watcher was taken in by rescue from the Christiansburg Animal shelter. Watcher is white and tan with a cute little tuft on the end of his tail.
Watcher is a lover, he is joyfully adorable! Watcher will bounce and prance into your heart and steal it away with his cuteness. Watcher loves to give kisses, only barks when there’s a reason, and loves to cuddle and be petted/picked up/carried by his owner. He loves his people more than anything but is also happy to be around other small dogs. Watcher would do best in a home where he has a person or another dog with him at all times. Watcher may not do well with small kids or unmindful older children as he has very little sense of self preservation. He has a collar with a bell to keep him from being hurt as he likes to stay very close to his humans when he’s not sleeping. Watcher rides nicely in the car and loves to sleep in bed with his people.
Watcher is not a picky eater and is known to climb up onto the dishwasher if it is open and try to “clean” the dishes if you aren’t watching him!
Watcher is working on his potty training. Currently, he will use pee pads in the house. He will go potty outside however he struggles to let you know when he has to go out, and if not let out in time will sometimes pee on soft things on the floor. He is a picky little guy- he doesn’t like to go out to do his business if the grass is tall or damp or if it’s cold out (typical chi!)
Watcher has been fully vetted and is up to date on his vaccinations. He has been neutered and has had a dental. He is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm prevention. Watcher is also microchipped.
Watcher’s adoption donation is $300.
