TOOTSIE

Home TOOTSIE

Tootsie

We adopted Tootsie back in June and she is now a member of the family. It did not take her long at all to fit right in. She has a big sister Zeus (older long-haired Chihuahua), who has helped Tootsie get acclimated to her new home. Zeus has taught Tootsie to do border patrol around the back yard to help protect her new forever home. To prepare for the upcoming winter, Dave bought Tootsie a pretty pink dog coat to help keep her warm when she runs outside to do her business.

Tootsie has two beds – one down in the kitchen and one upstairs in our bedroom, but she usually sleeps up on the bed, under the sheets and covers, right next to Elaine. She is a real cuddler. During the day, she stays in the kitchen with Zeus, and in the evenings, she is usually on either Dave or Elaine’s lap. Sometimes both Zeus and Tootsie are on the same person’s lap. Tootsie is very silly and playful, and sometimes we have to settle her down a bit when she annoys her big sister. But Tootsie is a very good Chihuahua. She is especially good now, since Christmas is coming. She has her own personalized Christmas stocking, and Zeus has already ruined part of the surprise by telling her that Santa brings new personalized collars every year! Also, she can’t wait for all the treats that Zeus has told her that Santa always brings for good Chihuahuas!
